Explore the possibility of establishing an Urban Gaeltacht in Cork City Centre aligned with the Cork Futures Initiative and Cork City Centre Revitalisation Action Plan. Explore a collaboration between the Irish language and the Traveller language, (Shelta or otherwise known as Cant or Gammon), on how each language can complement and support the other in terms of use and promotion within the Traveller and wider community. Ensure Cork City Council is cognisant of ISL (Irish Sign Language) as a recognized language of the state and to engage with relevant organisations in this regard.
