The photographs were taken by Colin Robins in Armagh in 2019 and Michael Bradley in 2019 and 1998 at locations in west Cork, including Béal na Blath, Castletownkenneigh, Coolea, Newcestown and Templemartin.

Charles Villers Stanford was a prolific Anglo-Irish composer. The exhibition highlights his opera based in a fictional West Cork village. The main female role in this opera was given to Cork soprano, Kate 'Birdie' Conway, who went on to become one of the founding members of Cumann na mBan.
