All Week except Sun 10.00 - 17.30 hrs Irish Road Bowling Exhibition The City Library 57-61 Grand Parade, T12 NT99 Exhibition | Culture||History Road bowling, or 'throwing the bullet', is primarily associated with the counties of Armagh and Cork. The photographs were taken by Colin Robins in Armagh in 2019 and Michael Bradley in 2019 and 1998 at locations in west Cork, including Béal na Blath, Castletownkenneigh, Coolea, Newcestown and Templemartin.

All Week except Sun 10.00 - 17.30 hrs The Stanford Centenary Celebrations & Cork Connections The City Library 57-61 Grand Parade, T12 NT99 Exhibition | History||Culture This exhibition is a collaboration between The Stanford Society and Cork City Libraries celebrating the Charles Villiers Stanford centenary. Charles Villers Stanford was a prolific Anglo-Irish composer. The exhibition highlights his opera based in a fictional West Cork village. The main female role in this opera was given to Cork soprano, Kate 'Birdie' Conway, who went on to become one of the founding members of Cumann na mBan.
