Cork LGBT Archive CLG Cork LGBT Archive Walking Tour
Orla Egan, Founder and CEO of Cork LGBT Archive CLG, will lead a walking tour through Cork City, visiting places of significance to the development of Cork’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Communities and telling stories about the queer history of Cork. 6pm to 7.30pm, The City Library, Grand Parade. Cork South Docklands Discover the history of the city docks, from quayside to the City Park Race Course and Albert Road’s Jewtown with the Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr. Kieran McCarthy in association with the Cork Jewish Community and Heritage Team. 6.30pm, Meet at Kennedy Park, Victoria Road. In & Around Callanan’s Bar, Cork: A South Parish Walking Tour A walking tour of Cork’s South Parish starting and concluding at Callanan’s Bar. Limited numbers so tickets must be booked and collected from Callanan’s Bar in advance of the walking tour. 7pm to 9.30pm, Callanan’s Bar, George’s Quay.
