- South-West Regional Enterprise Plan to 2024 - Cork 2050 - Cork Smart Gateway - Cork City Digital Strategy - Northwest Quarter Regeneration Plan 2020 This HLG and its objectives focuses on driving economic and enterprise growth in a sustainable way so that it ensure economic stability for all ages, abilities and in communities across the city. It is driven by the following objectives: - Invest in and develop Cork City’s communications, transport, and enterprise infrastructure to support economic growth. - Support Cork City's innovative ecosystem to develop new ideas, concepts, products, and processes to contribute to sustainable economic growth. - Continue to work with other key enterprise stakeholders to create an enterprise - friendly ecosystem that supports Cork City’s entrepreneurs, SMEs, and social enterprises through all stages of development. - Continue to work with key city stakeholders to attract and retain Foreign Direct Investment. in Cork City - Develop and expand Cork's tourism industry to support jobs and economic opportunities. - Develop the skills base in Cork City to ensure there is an adequate supply of skills available to support economic and enterprise growth. - Deploy renovation of derelict buildings as a key tool of community and economic transformation. - Economic Diversity: Support agencies in diversification of economic sectors HLG 4 does not have direct negative impacts on environmental resources (see SEA screening in this main report for more details). AA Comment This HLG is strategic in nature and does not relate to the physical environment or land use and are concerned primarily with service delivery. Any projects that may be developed in order to achieve these goals will proceed within the framework of the Cork City Development Plan. It is concluded that there is no potential for adverse effects on European sites.
