3.35 Safe and Secure City These objectives have already been assessed through SEA as part of the Cork City Development Plan 2022-2028 and the current plan proposal will not result in any activities over and above those already committed to as part of the above plans 5.4.1 Full accountability
Examine adequacy of disability accessibility infrastructure and signposting in key community centres and in the city centre and work with stakeholders to remedy identified gaps in amenity provision and accessibility. Cork City Council will build on the work of the Customer Service Unit to encourage ready access to City Council services and facilities, inclusive of all ages and abilities. This will include ensuring a Plain English approach to language and an organigram of public sector services in the city, to assist service users to navigate according to their needs. This should include children /youth/ family services, social and health services and safety, governance, and economic supports.
