The buildings form an L-shape composed of a seven-bay single- storey block with a three-bay breakfront, and a three-bay single- storey wing having two-storey end blocks. The two-storey blocks contain residential accommodation. The roofs are pitched and hipped with flat roofed dormers to single-storey blocks. Chimney stacks are rendered with brick cornice band. External finish is painted roughcast render with render plinth band. Finish to breakfront is plain painted render with a simple parapet to breakfront. In antis Doric columns flank the main entrance which is a square headed opening with blocked tympanum and plain orders. Windows are Wyatt type in square headed openings with cills. Six over six pane timber sliding sash windows to breakfront openings, which have a blocked fanlight e ff ect. Entrance doors to residential accommodation have square headed door openings with original timber panelled entrance doors, plain overlights and canopies over porch.
