Redan
The redan is enclosed with random limestone rubble masonry wall on all sides standing approximately 8m high at the inner face; the outer face is at the edge of a rock precipice. It has a concrete slab at internal yard level. Access to the base, which is at yard level, is via a gateway in the south wall. The outer face, viewed from street level
