19.00 - 20.00 HRS Celtic Twilights: A Tour of the Honan Chapel, UCC UCC The Honan Chapel, UCC , T12 VH32 HISTORY||ART / CREATIVE Internationally regarded as representing the best artwork of the Irish Arts & Crafts Movement (1894-1925). This talk, by Dr. James Cronin, introduces visitors to the art and architecture of the chapel and to the lives of the designers and craftsmen and craftswomen who were its designers and builders.

A forgotten figure from Irish history. A grandson of Young Irelander William Smith O’Brien, Conor took part in the gun running operation with Erskine Childers in 1914. He was an adventurer and first to sail around the world in a small private craft.

Club Ceoil Blarney host an open, traditional music session. Adult 18+s of all abilities are welcome to come listen, play, or sing. Tables reserved for the session circle. This is a regular session facilitated by the club’s music teachers.
