12.00 - 13.00 HRS The Body/The Poem/The Body Cork City Libraries 57-61 Grand Parade, T12 NT99 CULTURE Keith Payne Cork City Libraries Eco Poet in residence and Inma Pavon, Director of Inma Pavon Dance Co and Creative Dance Artist 2023 in Residence with The Rory Gallagher Music Library co-present this collaborative performance of contemporary movement and the poetry.

12.30 - 14.00 HRS Traditional Music youth session Club Ceoil Knocknaheeny Hollyhill Library, Harbour View Rd, T23 N250 MUSIC||CULTURE All young traditional musicians are welcome to join our youth session circle for players of all abilities. Music tutors will be on hand to help out, and will make the session laidback, fun and inclusive for young musicians. Supported by Music Generation Cork City every Saturday.

13.00 - 14.00 HRS Artefacts of the Great War Cork Public Museum Fitzgerald Park, Mardyke Walk, T12V0AA HISTORY||POLITICS / CURRENT AFFAIRS Cork Public Museum hosts a lecture series as part of its Winter/Spring programme 2023. Each Saturday until May 20th, a different lecture will focus on an element of the 1st World War. Todays lecture by Eugene Power on focuses on artefacts of the Great War and is suitable for all ages.

Dr Flicka Small leads a walking tour of the sites associated with the Joyces and mentioned in the novel.

13.00 - 14.00 HRS Plants and Green Infrastructure with Peter Dowdall South Parish Learning Neighbourhood Elizabeth Fort, Barrack Street, T12 C8A0 ENVIRONMENT / ECOLOGY||EDUCATION As part of the South Parish Learning Expo, Irish Garden Designer Peter Dowdall will provide an information session on the importance of plants and green infrastructure. Peter will demonstrate how urban problems such as flooding, poor air quality and species extinction can be alleviated through green infrastructure. During the presentation, Peter will explain how plants bring these benefits and will show how to easily create a Living/Green Wall.
