Park Projects
Marina Park:
Phase 1 snagging works ongoing with an estimated completion date of November 2021.
Tramore Valley Park:
Half Moon Lane Upgrade to allow pedestrian/cycle access to TVP. Contractor on site and works progressing – scheduled completion late November.
Clashduv Park:
Regrading and drainage work to soccer pitch are completed.
Ballincollig Regional Park:
Automatic Toilet scheduled to be installed in late November/early December.
Fionn Laoi:
Survey of land and detail design underway in preparation for Part 8 submission.
Water Fountains
Site investigations underway in preparation for installation at Tramore Valley Park, Fitzgerald’s Park, Ballincollig Regional Park, Bishopstown Park and Gerry O’ Sullivan Park. Tenders for supply and installation have been returned. 5 Wheelchair Swings to be installed at Meelick Park, Gerry O’ Sulli van Park, Pophams Park, Clashduv Park and Lough Mahon Park during November/December. Tenders for supply and installation have been issued.

Park Events
We have seen some small events and exercise groups take place in the parks such as Circus Training, Yoga, and various exercise classes since the easing of COVID restrictions.
Various contacts with Tidy Towns Groups, Renewal Groups, Residents Associations, Community Associations etc. Progressed new Garden Project Tory Top Park with Ballyphehane/Togher CDP.
