Safety Ensuring safety in community areas and the city centre also came through very strongly in online survey responses to questions where people could fill in their own answers. Partnerships and Resourcing There was a strong call for increased community level partnership and community resourcing between social, business, environmental and other stakeholders. There was also a call for better partnership with universities and institutions of further education. This call came from interest in advancing economic diversification and social inclusion objectives. Accessibility of Services and Facilities Increased accessibility of services also featured very strongly in consultation feedback. This feedback focused on a range of accessibility issues. Making community facilities and businesses more wheelchair accessible Providing training and skills to young people in marginalised neighbourhoods

Transport The need for improved public transport featured in consultation responses. This would help achieve carbon neutrality and improve economic efficiency, quality of life and increased access to the city’s economic and social life for all of its citizens.
