7.4 How We Will Reach This Goal and Objectives – The 33 Actions (Full Action Plan in Appendix 1)
Vulnerable Drug Users We will develop cross agency support for interagency supported response to vulnerable drug users (Sundial House model). Health and Wellness Training We will deliver mental health and wellness training for local employers, public sector staff, community workers and volunteers. Support Rehabilitation and Recovery Model of Care We will support the Rehabilitation and Recovery Model of Care for people who experience mental health difficulties and mental illness. Homeless Services We will support and collaborate on Homeless Services - HSE and CCC collaboration on supporting hospital discharge. Community Support Funding Mechanism We will contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of the collaborative community support funding mechanism between the HSE and CCC to potentially expand to include other funding partners. Area Profiles We will develop a cross-agency approach to the generation of area profiles. Health Impact Assessments We will develop a robust system for Health Impact Assessments (HIA) of future urban development projects. (HIA is a process used to determine the impact of proposed policies, laws, programmes or plans on the health of communities to ensure they are more inclusive, more equitable, and more sustainable for everyone). Connecting for Life Plan We will support the Connecting for Life plan in Cork City including supporting the key council local actions under this plan. This work includes agreed signage and means of accessing a number of concerned areas along the river and port area.

Interagency Emergency Response We will support the Interagency Emergency Response. Age-friendly Strategy We will support the development of the new Age Friendly Strategy for Cork City. Food Policy We will develop a Sustainable Food Policy for the City. Healthy Cities Action Plan We will support the putting in place of the Healthy Cities Action Plan Phase VII. Sexual Health Network We will support the work of the Sexual Health Network, including Period Poverty initiatives. international protection applicants and Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection by developing an infrastructure of welcome and belonging. We will do this in partnership with stakeholder organisations. Local Area Integration Teams Support the development of the Local Area Integration Teams and the role out of the City of Welcomes initiative. Cork City Marathon We will support the Cork City Marathon. Focusing on the Youth Challenge - encouraging 15- to 18-year-olds to take part in Cork City Marathon. Housing Strategy We will collaborate on housing strategy for young people exiting care from Tusla – Child and Family Agency. Injection Facility We will progress the ongoing process to examine the potential for a Medically Supervised Injection Facility for Cork City Cork City Integration Strategy We will develop the Cork City Integration Strategy to support refugees, migrant populations,
