Develop An Agreed Approach To Certify Voluntary Work We will advocate for and support the development of a certified recognition of committed voluntary work. This should meet a standard agreed between Cork Volunteer Centre and a Task Group of interested organisations. This will help people to expand their CVs (document describing qualifications and work experience) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Support The Long-Term Unemployed We will support the development of training and skills programmes aimed at those more likely to be long-term unemployed. It will be aimed at people

Improve Recognition Of Migrant Qualifications We will advocate for and support the development of a programme where Cork City educational institutions and businesses recognise the qualifications of the migrant population. We will promote learning models that adapt migrant population skills to local business needs.

Work With Arts For All Arts for All is a Cork alliance of

individuals, groups and organisations, who are committed to diversity and inclusion. We aim to work with ‘Arts for All’ to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal number 11: ‘Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable’. We will work with Arts for All to make Cork City a centre of excellence for inclusion in the arts. Expand Arts Infrastructure We will advance plans for one or more capital projects to address gaps in arts and cultural infrastructure (buildings used for arts and cultural purposes), including working to build a new City Library.

Maximise Abilities Of Everyone We will support the development of inclusive learning and skills programmes together with education providers and businesses. The aim will be to maximise the contribution of people of all abilities to the economy and community organisations.
