1.136 The Architectural Conservation Area contains five sub-areas corresponding to the different elements – industrial, ecclesiastical, and commercial - which constitute the historic Douglas-Donnybrook villages.
Description of Area
1.137 West Douglas is a flat area bounded by the former mill pond on the East and is located between the Tramore River (subsequently site of St. Patricks Woollen Mills) to the North and bottom of Grange hill to the South.
