ACA Sunday’s Well
1.163 It is bounded to the south by the escarpment of the flood plain of the North Channel of the River Lee, on the north by the rear boundaries of houses on Blarney St., to the east by the older streets off Shandon St. and Blarney St. and to the west by the large-scale institutional lands of the Lee Road. It is proposed to extend the ACA sub-area A by including the section of the south-side of Sunday’s Well Road to the west of the UCC School of Music in the former St. Vincent’s seminary complex.
Description of Area
1.162 Sunday’s Well is an area located on the steep south-facing slope of the north ridge of the city, overlooking the eastern side of the city centre.
