The regional and metropolitan scale green and blue infrastructure opportunities listed (Table 6.3) are predominantly non-spatial – thematic or interpretive. Many of the city scale green and blue infrastructure
opportunities (Table 6.4) are more area-specific and indicatively represented in “Figure 14.3 City Scale GBI Opportunities for Cork City” taken from the Cork City Green and Blue Infrastructure Study 2021 and included below. All opportunities listed require further assessment and input from multiple stakeholders, including funding and other resources.
