● Explore the potential to establish a creative hub , together with the creative community, where artists and craft-makers can be demonstrated and sold ● Audit the availability of temporary and permanent exhibition and performance spaces , consider potential uses for these and establish a cultural tour across permanent spaces. Work with property owners to create a schedule of spaces suitable for use as rehearsal space , space for architect students to design and exhibit projects, creative communities ● Develop a pilot initiative in Cork City to deliver an authentic local food experience, working with local producers, restaurants and food service providers ● Work with industry to identify opportunities to develop separate spaces for under 18s : art spaces, cinema, afternoon gigs, dance offs, skating, as well as small family-friendly events (markets, festivals, fairs) ● Explore the creation/establishment of a DAC to develop key mid-sized sites in the city centre and prepare a comprehensive derelict sites strategy incl. interventions on a spatial level. Consider community land trust models for smaller scale and cooperative-led opportunities and projects. • Cork has strong cultural assets (museums, venues, etc) and a vibrant creative community; demand for space to achieve growth is high • Despite the pandemic, Cork’s hospitality sector has shown resilience and innovation (e.g. outdoor dining) • As the pandemic abates, the night-time economy will need to be supported
