Oklahoma City became known as a wholesome, outdoorsy, sports-mad city with sports bars and foodie restaurants. The city began to attract new residents into the city; those who had left Oklahoma City years ago moved back.

Tel Aviv organised a Gay Pride festival to showcase liberal values, encouraged restaurants, bars and nightclubs to stay open all night and thereby getting the identity as a ‘non-stop city’.
