Cork International Poetry Festival at Cork City Libraries Sylva Fischerová & Adelaide Ivánova I Moderated by Afric McGlinchey Thursday 14 May I 2.30 PM th Sylva Fischerová awarded the prestigious Karen Capek Prize by the Czech PEN Club. Adelaide Ivánova’s book ASMA was chosen for best poetry book in 2024. Celia de Fréine & Menna Elfyn I Moderated by Clíona Ní Ríordáin Thursday 14 May I 4.00 PM th Celia De Fréine writes in both Irish and English has won many awards including the Patrick Kavanagh Award. Menna Elfyn is an award winning poet and playwright.
