Electric Vehicle Parking It is essential that the Development Plan sets out a clear pathway as to how the local authority will contribute to the decarbonisation of the transport fleet over the period of the Development Plan and beyond. The NTA welcomes the commitment to the provision for electric vehicles through the minimum standards for EV charging points and infrastructure, set out in section 11.240 and 11.241. Recommendation: The NTA recommends that the Draft Plan’s provisions for the promotion of Electric Vehicles is maintained in the finalisation of the plan.
Cork City Council’s commitment to the promotion of Electric Vehicles will remain a key objective of the final Plan and will be contained in all local framework and local level plans. Recommendation: No change.
