This submission seeks the subject lands to be zoned for residential use instead of the light industry and related uses proposed in the Draft Plan, given the proximity to existing residential properties. The Draft Plan proposes a number of new strategic employment lands to further the principles of a city of neighbourhoods and the 15- minute city, to ensure that new residential and employment uses are integrated. Issues relating to residential amenity are addressed at planning application stage, and the Draft Plan sets out a suite of objectives in this regard. Recommendation: No change.
