• Believes that there should be an emphasis in the Plan to improve existing parks and recreational facilities before commencement of new projects • Speciffically addressing ongoing traffic issues accessing the Lough, and • Opportunities for increased greening at the Lough. • Sets out concern for the Lough as a landmark park in need of attention, particularly with an increasing local population

• Requests the development boundary for Killeens be extended notes that the logical extension is to the north as the N20 forms a defined boundary along the south. • Seeks that city hinterlands are planned for accordingly as part of the anticipated large population growth for Cork. States there is little opportunity to meet population targets within the current defined boundary. • Seeks extension of Killens Village Boundary • Identifies lands to the north as the logical extension of the village • Notes the exclusion of brownfield lands from the development boundary
