Current wording of section 6.3: Access to Water Resources

• LUZOs for relevant land parcels are requested to reflect landownership and a refined land use strategy on the basis of a considered approach to the development of Ballyvolane.. • Amend land use strategy to west of Ballyhooley to reflect land parcel ownership; • Refine boundary of site between Ballyhooley Road and Ballincollie Road so that ZO-11 Business and Technology reflects ownership;

The Donovan Family

Summary of Submission and Observation:

• The submission seeks for the land use zoning objective for the client’s site at Donovan’s Farm, Burkes Hill, Tivoli, be changed from City Hinterland to residential to enable development of the site for that purpose on the grounds that: • These lands are serviced, have access and are sequential in the development of the city boundary in line with the regeneration of Tivoli and planned infrastructure investment, and the lands must therefore be prioritised for development; • Strategic targets to deliver residential development in Cork and the provisions of the Development Plans: Guidelines for Planning Authorities (June 2007 and Draft August 2021). • Designate subject lands with LUZO ZO-01 Sustainable Residential Neighbourhoods.
