Summary of Submission and Observation:

The submission requests the following issues are given due consideration and that clear polices are included to: • Ensure that the long-term operational requirements of existing utilities are protected, by discouraging inappropriate uses on adjoining lands and requiring adequate buffers. • Ensure that the proposed zoning does not constrain the development and enhancement of critical infrastructure of existing Transmission & Distribution infrastructure at the Marina. • Request the ‘Educational’ Zoning of lands on the south side of Centre Park Road be reverted to be consistent with the current 2015 – 2021 Plan. • Facilitate expansion and improvement in telecommunications infrastructure to position the City to act as a mechanism to improve virtual connectivity. • Implement of the latest standards through section 11.240 – Electric Vehicle Parking, to ensure it becomes a comprehensive network of public and domestic charge points with open systems and platforms accessible to all supply companies and all types of electric cars.

• The submission relates to lands (a 5.8 hectare site) at Fairhill and requests that the Council facilitate and support the availability of an enhanced mix of housing type and tenure in the North- west City Suburb by extending the zoning ZO 01 Sustainable Residential Neighbourhoods to include the subject site for private and affordable housing provision. The site is currently proposed to be zoned for Open Space in the Draft Plan. • The submission requests to rezone lands (a 5.8 hectare site) at Fairhill from Open space to ZO 01 Sustainable Residential Neighbourhood Zoning.
