Summary of Submission and Observation:

1 Confirm Freefoam Plastics Limited’s support for the plan led regeneration of Cork City Docks to as an exemplar development for regeneration and design quality in Europe.

2. Freefoam Plastics Limited acknowledges Cork City Council’s intention to work with its partners to and solutions to the relocating of existing low intensity light industrial (and related) uses to newly developed industrial estates in locations around the City. 3. Freefoam Plastics Limited acknowledges that the Cork City Council is committed to utilising Compulsory Purchase Order powers under relevant legislation as required to enable infrastructure delivery necessary to unlock the potential of the Cork City Docks to create a sustainable neighbourhood.

Summary of Submission and Observation:

• The CETB requests that the Cork City Development Plan 2022-2028 is amended to make specific reference to the CETB’s ambition to create a world class Further Education and Training Centre and Campus at the CTC site on Rossa Avenue and Model Farm Road. • The detailed planning of the LRT route as it connects MTU, CTC and onwards to CUH must be carefully considered so as not to adversely impact future expansion potential at the Cork Training Centre (CTC).
