• Objects to proposed zoning objective ‘sports grounds and facilities’ for lands at the Stables, Coolroe, Ballincollig. These lands are in private ownership not associated with the rugby club. • Instead seeks zoning for residential use, consistent with surrounding lands.

• This submission has a number of concerns regarding the vision for Blarney, noting that the development of Stoneview will detract from development of Blarney, highlighting a number of policy and zoning changes in the village which, in their view, will deter future development. • Removal of the ACA designation from Blarney Park Site • Leave the existing ZO1 zoning in place for the former hotel site • Not to change the current designation of the surface car park area

Douglas street Business Association

Summary of Submission and Observation:

• Sets out their vision for the ‘village in the city’ project to support active uses both commercial and residential projects in Douglas Street. • Prioritise public realm on Douglas Street for cyclists and pedestrians and recommends a one-way system. • Support development of hubs • Welcomes Proposed ACA designation for Douglas Street area • Seeks masterplan for Douglas Street area. • Objectives should be included in the Development Plan that considers the following for the Douglas Street area:
