• Although the submitter supports the increase of cycle routes around our city, they think the development of a cycle route through the Glen River Park is not a green solution and would impact the park and its users in a negative way. • Not to go ahead with the plan to develop a cycle route THROUGH the Glen River Park Response and Recommendation to issues located in:

• Please include the Multi-use Maritime Recreation Hub into the City plan. • The draft CDP does not include an objective for a Maritime Activities Centre directly but does refer to provision for multi-use sport/ recreational hubs (Objective 6.20); • new active recreational infrastructure to improve access to the river at City Docks; • encouraging water-based leisure activities and land site facilities such as rowing, light craft and swimming at City Docks (Objectives 10.20 and 10.30); • and to working with stakeholders to facilitate safe, improved accessibility to the water, including the River Lee (Objective 6.3). • Please include the Multi-use Maritime Recreation Hub into the City plan

• As part of the Cork City Plan can the 'Lee to Sea Greenway' be incorporated. This will benefit the city • attract tourists • serve commuters • serve as a safe space for people to exercise. • With the success of the Waterford Greenway a similar investment into the 'Lee to Sea Greenway' will also be of huge benefit to Cork City. • As part of the Lehenaghmore Road improvement can the 'Tramore Valley Park to Kinsale Road to Viaduct Greenway' be incorporated. This will benefit the city and local areas • attract tourists and a gateway to west cork • serve commuters • serve as a safe space for people to exercise. • This will benefit greatly the new Lehenaghmore housing development and its young population
