Charlotte Bishop
Summary of Submission and Observation:
• Glen River Park Biodiversity- developing an 'improved' walk and cycle way is not necessary- the paths are well as they are and are already used by walkers and cyclists. • The Lee to Sea project is an excellent idea. It must be extended though to recognise the cycle route that is already there. • Currently the Beara Gougane Barra Cycle Route (esp the part along Iniscarra road) is a terrifying route to cycle. It will remain as such as long as car drivers believe that the road is solely theirs. Cork City Development plan must make the Gougane Barra Cycle Route more accessible to bike users and less accessible to drivers; • Cycle route through Glen River Park not necessary • Extend Lee to Sea project

Eimear O’Connell
Summary of Submission and Observation:
• welcomes the proposed new zoning as it will enable the lands to contribute to the provision of housing in the area, supporting Tower in delivering on its strategic function. • States that proposed zoning is in line with national and regional policies to prioritise areas which consolidate existing and permitted developments and believe these lands will play a significant role in the successful delivery of the Tower. • considered that concentrating development to the east of Tower should be prioritised to optimise these key infrastructure investments and to promote sustainable transport throughout the area in line with CMATs
