Senandale Residents

Summary of Submission and Observation:

• Submission states that there is a real need for housing to be developed but that this needs to be tempered with the very real difficulties that some home-owners face when trying to keep their houses free from flooding and the costs of insurance associated with same. • Residents in Senandale (Tower/Cloghroe) estate have experienced water coming into their houses and, up to very recently, water has been threatening the front and back doors of some houses. • Density levels for housing developments need to be reviewed on case by case basis for each new proposed development. • Every plot of ground and its environs throws up very specific considerations unique to the location.
