• This submission relates to lands at Bessborough Estate and concerns land use zoning and the SE 4 Landscape Preservation Zone designation, • specifically seek changes to the wording of SE 4 to allow for the lands to the south of Bessborough House as a memorial and neighbourhood park (as opposed to ‘seek the use of the grounds as a neighbourhood park’) and; • to allow development to the north and northwest of Bessborough House (as opposed to ‘to allow development within the immediate environs to the north of Bessborough House’). • Seeks to amendment to Objective 10.313 and 10.314 acknowledge the overall site masterplanning proposals presented within the Douglas Land Use and Transportation Study as it relates to the cinema Site. • Supports the proposed ZO8 zoning outlined undersection 7.85 District centres and Large Urban Town Centres and amendment of the site in Douglas from ‘Urban Town Centre’ to ‘District Centre’ • To acknowledge the site as being infill lands which are fully served and located in Douglas Town Centre. • The submission also sets out how the proposed site complies with compact growth and the 15 minute city in the Draft Plan
