The City Development Plan also includes a series of specific objectives to utilise planning and design legislation and tools that provide clearer pathways for the future regeneration and development of key sites. These include masterplans, framework plans, historic area regeneration plans and site- specific design briefs. Plans are being progressed in a number of areas across the city – see Chapter 10 Key Growth Areas and Neighbourhood Development Sites in this report for further details.
