[OBJECTIVE 3.10] HOUSING AND COMMUNITY FOR OLDER PEOPLE
Cork City Council has delivered 142 units which are part of schemes which fully or partially support Age Friendly Developments. Cork City Council also employs the expertise of an Age Friendly Coordinator, appointed in March 2024, and an Age Friendly Housing Technical Advisor, in pursuit of delivering Objective 3.10.

In addition, permission has been granted for sheltered housing units, independent living pods, and nursing home extensions as set out in the table below. No commencement notices have been received by 31/03/2024 for the listed permitted developments.
