Further development, design and implementation of BusConnects based on the CMATS network. Prioritisation of the following bus network corridors in the short term: • East-West interim bus corridor following LRT corridor alignment. • Douglas Road / South Douglas Road Corridor. • N20 Mallow Road Corridor; • Summerhill North / Ballyhooly Road Corridor.
The NTA are currently working on the delivery of the bus network redesign in conjunction with Cork City Council and have recently obtained planning permission for new bus stops in the city centre and a new temporary bus depot in Tivoli, both of which are required to support the roll out of the new enhanced bus services.
• Hollyhill to City Centre. • Dunkettle to City Centre.

• Cork City Council in conjunction with the NTA continue the planning and construction of the primary cycle network. • The following projects, associated with the primary cycle network, have been substantially completed over the last two years. • McCurtain Street Public Transport Improvement Scheme. • Passage Greenway Project Phase 1 (Mahon to Docklands). • Skehard Road Phase 3: Church Road to Mahon Link Road. • Glanmire Road improvement scheme. • Grange to Tramore Valley Park pedestrian and cycleway. • Curraheen to Carrigrohane greenway upgrade. • The following cycle projects are under construction in the City: • The Marina Promenade Project. • Mahon Cycle Project. • Glanmire to City Centre Cycle Project Phase 1 (Glanmire to Dunkettle). • Planning of the Lee to Sea Greenway is currently underway.
Development and completion of the primary and inter-city cycle network, including the Lee-to-Sea Greenway from Ballincollig to Crosshaven.
Audit of cycling infrastructure throughout Cork City involving all relevant stakeholders. Align implementation of the cycling network with the implementation of the BusConnects network. Feeder network and permeability review to be undertaken and implemented.
This audit has yet to be undertaken.
The BusConnects Sustainable Transport Corridors have substantially delivered cycle networks along each of the routes.

As part of the development planning process additional cycle infrastructure has been included within certain schemes including new housing districts in Castletreasure, South Ballincollig and Ballyvolane.
Further implementation of the cycle network aligned with development opportunities and traffic calming.
