Cork City Libraries To Avenge a Dead Glacier: Shane Tivenan in conversation with Danielle McLaughlin In association with Lilliput Press Shane Tivenan, author of the stunning debut collection ‘To Avenge a Dead Glacier’, will be in conversation with award-winning writer Danielle McLaughlin, author of ‘The Art of Falling’. 6pm, The City Library, Grand Parade. Douglas and its history Children’s Heritage Afternoon A historical walking tour with Cllr. Kieran McCarthy in association with Douglas Tidy Towns. Discover the history of industry and the development of this historic village. 6.30pm, meet in the carpark of Douglas Community Centre.
