‘Hidden History - The Past and Future of All Saints Cemetery’ Hundreds of people pass All Saints Cemetery every day, but not everyone knows its poignant significance. Located at the top of Carr’s Hill, All Saints Cemetery is a famine and paupers’ graveyard, where thousands of poverty-stricken men, women, and children are buried with no headstone. This new exhibition from Douglas Tidy Towns, with support from Independent City Councillor and historian Kieran McCarthy, aims to keep the cemetery in the local community’s mind while Cork City Council works on its restoration plan.
