Ireland’s Fossil Heritage is hosting a public walk in Cork City where they will visit some of the best and most spectacular fossils visible in the building stones of the city’s walls and footpaths. Rubicon Heritage Modern Routes Towards the Past: Talking 20 Years of Cork Archaeology with Rubicon Heritage Archaeologists from Cork’s Rubicon Heritage will talk about the archaeological discoveries unearthed over 2 decades of work in County Cork and Cork City. 10am to 4pm, Nano Nagle Place, Douglas Street.

Stone carving demonstrations for all and clay workshops for children Explore how our ancestors used stone carving to express their identities and connections to the wider world.
