Cork City Libraries Launch of the Exhibition: The role of the amateur dramatic movement in Cork City after the Civil War 1923 to 1930. The exhibition celebrates the amateur dramatic movement in the city from 1923 to 1930 and includes the contributions made by the Cork Shakespearean Company (The Loft), the Cork Drama League and the influences of its playwrights. Ballincollig Heritage Festival How Gunpowder was made in the 19th Century- Walk and Talk Discover how gunpowder was made in the 19th century on a 2.5km walk along the banks of the River Lee.
