Cork City Libraries James Wilkinson Cork City Librarian 1892 to 1932 Book launch and talk with Mairéad Mooney. James Wilkinson was and still is, to date, the longest-serving librarian of Cork City’s public libraries. Appointed in October 1892, he held the
post of librarian for a forty-year tenure. 4.30pm, The City Library, Grand Parade.
Douglas Union of Parishes Meet the Reeves Family of Tramore House, Douglas Rachel Finnegan will give an illustrated talk on the Reeves Family who occupied Tramore House, Douglas during the 19th century. 6.30pm, St. Luke’s Church, Churchyard Lane, Douglas.

Douglas Tidy Towns Herb Garden Workshop
Join botanist and herbalist Jo Goodyear to learn about the herbs in the Tidy Towns Community Herb Garden in Douglas Community Park followed by tastings of herb preparations. 2pm, Douglas Community Centre car park (or at the Herb Garden). Ballincollig Heritage Festival Forrest Bathing with Erin Geraghty 3pm, meet at tree sculptures at main carpark, Ballincollig Regional Park.
