Marchathon Winners

Well Done to all participants in this year’s Marchathon! Cork City Council Smarter Travel Workplace teams fared very well in the national leaderboards with two of our teams neck and neck on 10 th and 11 th places nationally. On the Desk-based leaderboards we fared even better as these teams were placed at 6th and 7 th places respectively. Congratulations to all, especially the following 3 teams who were placed first to third in Cork City Council

The Social Exclusives with 495,035 steps Francis Freyne, Jacqueline Crotty, Ruth Lynch Too Inspired to be Tired with 489,005 steps Martina Broderick, Anita Lenihan, Lisa Horgan

Young Forsa with 336,478 steps Anna Kenrick, Aoife Murphy, Carissa Murphy, Emma Clifford Representatives of winning teams were presented with prizes of shopping vouchers and Certificates of Achievement.

Park Rangers

The Sports & Sustainability Section were delighted to support the work of the Park Rangers by providing bikes to our Rangers in Ballincollig Regional Park. Pictured below is one of the bikes provided by Sports & Sustainability with some of our Park Rangers in Ballincollig Regional Park.
