2020 Road Resurfacing Programme
The original tendered roads resurfacing programme has now been completed, save one location which will be completed over the coming weeks. The following locations were completed in November:
City South
Tramore Road (local), High Street (local), Douglas Road (regional), and Pic du Jer Park (SE Councillor nominated local).
City North
Thomas Davis Street (local), Watercourse Road (local) and Rathcooney Road (date tbc; NW Councillor nominated local).
Glanmire Area:
Ballyhooley Road north of White’s Cross (regional)
Douglas Area
Spur Hill (local), Donnybrook Hill (local), Rochestown Road (regional), Clifden, Grange (local), Ballyorban Junction (local) and Thornbury View (local).
After completion of the original progra mme of works, there was some funding available in this year’s grants and the following locations were added as extras to the programme. These are currently being completed: Tower Village and Kerry Road (Blarney AO) regional, Lehanaghmore Hill (Douglas AO) local, Castlegreina Park (City South) local, Anderson’s Quay Junction and Silvercourt (City North) regional and local , Riverstown L3010 and Barrymore Court (Glanmire AO) local and Inniscarra Road (Ballincollig AO) regional Transport Pay Parking Income Street Parking was free during Covid Lockdown
