All surface drainage work is now complete. AIRPORT HILL PAVEMENT RENEWAL CONTRACT (€1.5m) Preliminary design work has commenced for the r enewal of pavements. CORK NORTH RING ROAD Design Team for the route selection process has been appointed. Section 85 Agreement is being prepared. Route selection process will be concluded by the end of 2022. SKEHARD ROAD- PHASE 3 CHURCH ROAD TO BESSBORO JUNCTION Construction has been temporarily suspended due to Covid Level 5 restrictions. PASSAGE GREENWAY ENHANCEMENT CONTRACT Phase 1 (Mahon to Docklands) Contractors Ward & Burke have been appointed. Site clearance work is underway. PASSAGE GREENWAY ENHANCEMENT CONTRACT Phase 2 (Mahon to Passage) (€4.0 million) Design Team appointment complete. Preliminary design is underway. Preliminary consultation Re. route options is ongoing. LEGHENAGHMORE ROAD WIDENING & REALIGNMENT PROJECT Design Team is appointed. Part 8 planning is approved. The project requires land acquisition (28 distinct plots). Procurement of design team for detailed design to project completion is underway. CLARKE’S HILL Design and planning is complete. Land Acquisition discussions are underway. Negotiations with TII and NTA are ongoing Re. the part funding of the project. COACH HILL Preliminary layout design is under development . MARINA PROMENADE. Procurement of design team is ongoing. STREETSCAPE RENEWAL OF DOUGLAS ST, MARY ST & WHITE ST Tender documents for the selection of multidisciplinary design team is under development. Procurement/design completion will be published in April. RINGMAHON ROAD CYCLE LANES Design Team will be appointed for Preliminary Design in early March. KILCULLY & UPPER GLANMIRE PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENT SCHEME Preliminary design is co mplete. Consultation with residents’ groups is ongoing. Phase 1 works will be delivered this year with Phase 2 to follow next year subject to the acquisition of lands. GLANMIRE TO CITY CYCLE NETWORK (Phase 1 Glanmire to Dunkettle) Tender brief and related tender documents are under development for the appointment of the Design Team. MAHON TO CITY CENTRE TRANSPORT CORRIDOR will be delivered as part of bus connects.
