MONAHAN ROAD EXTENSION (€5 million) Design Team has been appointed. Preliminary design work is underway. Land Acquisition requirements have been confirmed. Site Investigation contract is underway. Urban Regeneration & Development Fund: EASTERN GATEWAY BRIDGE The draft appraisal brief & related tender documents as per DPER Public Spending Code requirements are complete. The Appraisal tender documents will be issued to the NTA & LDA for their input prior to publication. Considering options re. the incorporation of bridges and roads into one planning process. BEAMISH & CRAWFORD QUARTER INFRASTRUCTURE The appraisal process for the selection of the bridges at Proby’s Quay and Crosses Green is complete. Detailed design for the public realm enhancement of South Main Street, Tuckey Street, Proby’s Quay, Sullivan’s Quay, etc . is progressing. MARINA PARK PHASE 2. Atkins appointed to undertake an inspection of the area and to design emergency remedial works and prepare contract documents. Cumnor Construction Ltd. appointed to undertake permanent emergency works – 80% complete.
