MARY ELMES PEDESTRIAN & CYCLE BRIDGE (€5.2 million) The bridge project is complete. The repaving of Harley’s Street is substantially complete. The remaining work is scheduled to be undertaken in the coming weeks.

Traffic counts, building surveys and site investigation contracts are complete. New Part 8 Planning process to be undertaken. Detailed Design and preparation of construction contract documents is progressing. GLANMIRE ROADS IMPROVEMENT SCHEME Compulsory Purchase Order has been submitted to An Bord Pleanala, we are awaiting confirmation of a date for oral hearing. Section 50 applications for new bridge are awaiting OPW approval and detailed design is continuing.
MONAHAN ROAD EXTENSION (€5 million) Tender Documents for the selection of the design team are progressing.
