10 Cork City Council will plant and support the planting of a mix of native and appropriate non-native species to maximise the benefits trees provide and to safeguard their longevity in the landscape.
11 Cork City Council will plant and support the planting of trees that bear fruit, nuts, or supply handicraft materials in appropriate locations.
12 Soil and tree pits for public tree planting will be in accordance with the European Tree P lanting Standard.
