11.00 -13.00 HRS Launch of Mayfield ‘Neighbourhood University’ Frank O’Connor Library, Mayfield, T23 E667 Cork City Libraries EDUCATION The Mayfield Learning Neighbourhood committee are planning to host a ‘Neighbourhood University’ programme in late April 2022. This aim of this programme is to enable the local community to experience a taster of Higher Education in the local neighbourhood with a series of 6- 8 lectures on a variety of subjects. The lectures will take place one morning per week in the local area.

11.00 - 11.30 HRS Ukulele Recital Frank O’Connor Library, Mayfield, T23 E668 Cork City Libraries MUSIC Scoil Muire & Eoin primary students will showcase their Ukulele skills that they have learnt throughout the year

Convent Place, (off Proby’s Quay) T12 C673 Welcome English Language Centre CULTURE Celebrate other cultures with our students who hail from many different countries around the globe. Taste food and learn something about other traditions and faraway places.

ART / CREATIVE The Academy of Diversity is a collaborative project with Nano Nagle Place and our community education projects, The Lantern Community Project and Cork Migrant Centre. The participants came together under the tutelage of artist Ann Mechelinck to create a artwork which has been born through conversation and learning. Come and see the artwork and join the conversation!
