The event will be a performance of lively klezmer music by the Fresh Air Collective (Eileen Healy, Ruti Lachs, Edel Sullivan and Fintan Lucy), with a chance to learn some traditional dances, and to learn a simple Yiddish song. Klezmer is Jewish wedding music. Hear about the history of the Cork Jewish community, listen and dance to the music of their eastern European Jewish cultural origins.
