Come visit this centre and view a variety of delightful art pieces, photographs and crafts all of which were created by individuals in local art, knitting and crochet and photography classes. 11.00 - 16.00 HRS DAILY Two Traveller Short Films Cork Public Museum, Fitzgerald Park, T12 V0AA Cork Traveller Women’s Network CULTURE | HISTORY TUES 5TH - SUN 10TH APRIL Films shown on a loop: ‘A Short History of Irish Travellers’ (2020) with animator Hazel Hurley. Written and narrated by Traveller women, dispelling some of the myths about Traveller origins & ‘Beady Pockets’ (Wombat Media - 2021) Traveller grandmother Kathleen Keenan sharing her memories about a traditional Traveller women’s craft. Both films are supported by the Heritage Council of Ireland
