This consultation supported the concept of the 15-minute city, and an ambitious reimagining of how a city operates to create more green spaces and regional parks with biodiversity. This consultation also highlighted climate change as a threat to the city in the form of flooding and extreme weather incidents and identified the need for Cork City to be ready for such events as a need for the LECP to address.
