CE Reports Every month, the Chief Executive of Cork City Council publishes a report with the latest updates, statistics and figures from around the organisation. This Chief Executive’s Management Report is part of the reporting structures within Cork City Council and aims to assist the elected members to carry out their governance responsibilities; oversee the executive in the delivery of policy that has been decided by council and provide oversight of the Chief Executive’s discharge of her executive duties. In September 2021, the BPSI Unit collaborated with colleagues in ICT to find a more readable format for the Chief Executive monthly report. This resulted in using Flipping Book technology. Viewers can flip through the pages on line and download the report if they wish. It also allows the organisation to have one version of the report available to elected members, staff and members of the public. The technology enables the BPSI Unit to monitor the number of views, downloads etc. from this site.
Vaccination Centre
Cork City Council was privileged to host the Vaccination Centre in its Concert Hall and Millenium Hall facilities during 2021 which was run by the Health Services Executive (HSE) as one of its city centre locations for administering the vaccines to deal with the Covid 19 pandemic. The Centre opened in April 2021. Corporate Affairs, through its Facilities Management Unit, liaised with the HSE to facilitate its set-up in the optimum use of the two halls and surrounding area.
Marking 100 days of the Vaccination Centre in City Hall.
